As we approach the 50th anniversary of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch), we can’t help but thank God for all the open doors that He is giving us. We are called for spiritual breakthroughs. It is God’s will for us to be found expanding and growing in our service to Him. There is only one direction that the church is heading – that is to move forward. We can see that with our evangelisti c breakthroughs.
The numbers that we’ve got from the recently concluded Home Free Crusades are living proof that God is working mightily in our midst. Our time is a time of harvest. We’re not only counting the number of people being added to His true church but we’re also seeing countless places around the world being planted with the 4th Watch message, thanks to the Reaching Regions Beyond program. The end-time chur ch i s having a breakthrough in many facets of our service to God.
We are experiencing what we call breakthrough moments especially that we are coming close to yet another milestone in the Church. Our golden year anniversary is not only a celebration of God’s goodness, but it is also an opportunity for us to be part of the many breakthroughs that He is unveiling in our time. As we have this moment, let us keep our momentum and continue to have our breakthroughs rolling.
How do we keep our missionary breakthroughs? There are many ways on how we can continue with these breakthroughs. As a missionary church, we are called to testify about God’s love and to spread the gospel in different places. Like what our church leaders are doing, let us join them in their missionary journeys. We may be situated in different cities and localities but we have the same mission to accomplish. One thing that we can do to be part of these breakthroughs is to join hand in hand with our evangelistic efforts. Like what the Apostle has instructed us, we can do personal evangelism and public preaching. We can also set up watch parties with our Home Free Crusades. There are many ways on how we can spread the Word to people.
Another thing that we can do is to continue to pray that God will guide us in our missionary endeavors. Apostle Paul in his letter to the early believers encouraged them to pray continually (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Missionary breakthroughs are only possible when there’s a breakthrough in our prayer life. We can start that with our families through our family devotions and bible readings. As we come together in prayer, the stronger we are and prepared to do more for God and His mission.
Lastly, we can achieve more victories in our service to Him when we continue to support the needs of His mission. To be able to accomplish that, we need to give with impact. Giving with impact is a kind of giving that is mission-oriented, sacrificial and monumental. As God has blessed us in our lives, let us all the more bless His work in our time. Let us gather all things for Christ ’till His return. Let us continue to empower the mission of God.
Through the leadership of the Goodman of the House, the Church of Christ in the end-time will continue to grow and expand in both number and service to God. Let us be one with the Apostle and our leaders. As we await the return of our Lord, may we continue to aim for excellence and perfection. Maranatha! Happy Rapture!
